Copyright & Contact Info

All text, photos, and screenshots are mine. I do not steal the writing, photos, or screenshots of others. If I ever find the need to share the work of someone else, I will obtain the appropriate permission and give due credit.

HOWEVER, the images in the photos and screencaps, those are of course NOT mine. A screenshot from a movie, or a picture of a VHS cover, it goes without saying that the actual material/artwork/etc. is still the property of the respective copyright holder(s), where applicable. I legally own the tape, but naturally I don’t own the material on the tape.

It should also be noted that where the vintage television broadcast reviews are concerned, the source material was legally taped by me myself back when it originally aired. They are not sourced from 2nd gen copies, illegal duplicators, or what have you.

Which brings me to this: I am a big believer in respecting copyright law. Anything you see in this blog is for review, criticism, research, and/or educational purposes, and thus should fall safely under the guidelines of fair use. My sole purpose in this blog is to review, describe and, in some cases, bring to more prominent light interesting vintage television broadcasting, home video and/or electronics – often with a unique personal insight.

All that said, if you are a copyright holder that has an issue with something I have posted, PLEASE contact me and I’ll remove it ASAP.

Let me clearly state that NOTHING HERE IS FOR SALE OR TRADE! I DO NOT AND WILL NOT MAKE COPIES OF ANY VIDEOS! I WILL NOT POST VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE OR ANY SIMILAR SITE! PLEASE DON’T ASK!

    Hi,

    I saw on this website

    (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:i6iJlJdHuXYJ:http://www.miamiviceonline.com/index.php/topic/9693-miami-vice-2004-game-region-2-only/%2Bxbox+%22miami+vice%22+region+free&hl=en&gbv=2&&ct=clnk)

    that you had bought the PAL version of the 2004 Miami Vice XBOX game. Was it region free? Were you able to play it on your NTSC XBox without modifying it? I haven’t found any information yet but I suspect that it is region locked. Thanks for any information.

      I do indeed have the Xbox Miami Vice game. I never actually played it, as I bought it strictly for collecting MV purposes. I did look into being able to play it though, and as I recall, NTSC Xbox consoles needed to be modded to play PAL games. As far as I know the game is totally region locked.

    Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I am an avid reader of your blog and appreciate the selfless work and time you put into it. Your writing style is how I would write if I wrote of my passions. I grew up in Cleveland in the 60’s through the 80’s and am amazed by your knowledge being of the younger generation. I am a fan of Superhost (and Barnaby, did anyone ever tape his shows?) and always look forward to anything on him as you have posted in the past.

    I agree the old betamaxx copy of this movie is way better than the VHs or some of the dvd’s of it.Any chance you have more scenes from the dance hall?

      RE: The Creeping Terror tape – I don’t have any more saved to the PC. I could pull out the DVD conversion and grab some if need be, but IIRC there is no difference in the content of the footage compared to other prints of the film.
